A Level 2 inspection follows NFPA 211 and is the standard for a property sale, after a chimney fire, lightning, or earthquake, or when changing the fuel type or appliance on the flue. It includes everything in a Level 1 plus internal video of the flue, an accessible attic/basement/crawlspace check of the chimney structure, and a written report.

Yes - escrow-driven Level 2s are a regular workflow for us. Same-week scheduling, video documentation, and a written report delivered to you and (with your consent) directly to the buyer's agent. We bill the seller, the listing agent, or escrow per your direction.

Send us the report. We quote the specific items flagged (often cap, crown, liner, flashing, or a deferred sweep with heavy creosote), schedule the repair before your close date, and provide a completion letter for the buyer's side. Inspection-response is one of our highest-volume real-estate workflows.

That's a Level 2 inspection per NFPA 211 (post-event). We do a full video pass up the flue, inspect the masonry and liner for damage, and provide a written report. It's a critical step before the next fire - chimney fires often crack the liner and masonry where you can't see from below.
